Trip - Distorted/Altered Photos
I really find beauty in this altered photograph of tree bark in that it looks sort of like a cell structure and different circular patterns. I took a very and physical being and distorted the colors, shapes, and lines of the bark.
This photo just pleases my senses for some reason. I created a ring of leaves around a small rock sort of like a sun burst. Id have to go along with what Richards Philosophy believes in not because its the easiest to go with but because it speaks to me in a way with all of the lines going wildly about and it has movement even though its a still photograph.
This photo is of a paper mache rose or some sort of paper rose that was stuck in the ground and i zoomed in on the details in the petals and just fell in love with how it looked mirrored because of geometric shapes. The color is also very pleasing to me in that different shades of pink are my favorite colors. I would have to apply Platos Philosophy to this piece because i find it to be beautiful in realistic and idealist views. Its a real, beautiful object thats been altered slightly to fit my perception of perfection or somewhere close to it.
This photograph is weird to me. I find it awkwardly pleasing. They are so many holes and that kinda creeps me out but it also makes me happy to see some many small circles in one spot. Each of the holes are pretty trippy too and they kinda look like theyre moving. I would have to just say its Avant Garde because i cannot explain anything except the fact that it challenges someone to think about the expression im trying to express.
This one is one of my favorites because of the fact that it was moving as I took the snapshot. Its a beautiful geometric design rotating with the wind. The lines are all blurry and sketchy looking which excites me in a way I think because of the motion in it.
